UNO Student Government maintains many services and resources available to all students at the University of New Orleans. Some of these services may include a nominal fee, but it is only intended to cover the cost of labor and supplies:

SG Travel Assistance Program
      Though the University of New Orleans represents some of the best academic resources you can find anywhere, there may be times that you will have to travel to learn more and add to your overall college experience. This can include traveling to a professional or academic conference in your major or field of study, or travel to a national, regional or state workshop for your student organization. SG Travel Assistance provides necessary funds for students to travel to these events on behalf of the University of New Orleans. We want to make sure that you can take part in as many opportunities that you can, and the SG Travel Assistance program can get you there. There are specific requirements involved in qualifying, submitting and being approved for travel, so please visit SG Forms and Publications.

SG Legal Services
      Need free legal advice? Need to get your letter notarized--for FREE? The SG Legal Services program functions as a support system for students that need assistance in matters that only a practicing attorney can provide. Our attorney can provide legal assistance and advice to students on various legal issues. However, SG Legal Services can not provide counsel for complaints or charges against another UNO student, staff or faculty member.
      SG Legal Services also notarize letters for faculty and staff members for a low fee.

SG Fax Services
      SG provide free fax services to students. Long distance? NO problem! Send and receive faxes for free. Just come by BA 228.
