UNO Student Government maintains many services and resources available to all students at the University of New Orleans. Some of these services may include a nominal fee, but it is only intended to cover the cost of labor and supplies:
Though the University of New Orleans represents some of the best academic resources you can find anywhere, there may be times that you will have to travel to learn more and add to your overall college experience. This can include traveling to a professional or academic conference in your major or field of study, or travel to a national, regional or state workshop for your student organization. SG Travel Assistance provides necessary funds for students to travel to these events on behalf of the University of New Orleans. We want to make sure that you can take part in as many opportunities that you can, and the SG Travel Assistance program can get you there. There are specific requirements involved in qualifying, submitting and being approved for travel, so please visit SG Forms and Publications.
SG Fax Services
SG provide free fax services to students. Long distance? NO problem! Send and receive faxes for free. Just come by MH 159.
Free DVD Rentals
Students can rent DVDs free of charge from the SG DVD library located in the library lobby. Click here to see the list of movies avialable.
Students may also suggest new movies for the SG DVD library.

Legal Services
The legal counseling services can assist with general law related inquires, disputes with individuals or companies, questions regarding legal proceedures, advice on further actions and legal processes. The services also include a notary which is free to students and 10 dollars for faculty and 1 dollar per extra page. The legal service hours are Wednesday 8:30am-1:30pm and Thursday 1:00pm-6:00pm.
